What is it?

Vibradermabrasion or Vibraderm is the latest non-invasive high tech method to improve the appearance of skin with no downtime. Patented Vibraderm paddles remove the surface layer of the skin without the use of chemicals, lasers or acids. It does not involve trauma or bleeding.

Vibraderm is superior to conventional microdermabrasion because there is no crystal residue left on the skin. This process unblocks pores, removes dead skin cells, and stimulates circulation. Vibradermabrasion also stimulates formation of new collagen and elastin to improve skin texture and elasticity.

Unlike other skin treatments, Vibraderm can treat the skin on your entire body and works for any skin type regardless if your skin is dark, light, tough or sensitive.

Each client purchases their own personal Vibraderm Kit that includes a small and large paddle set that will only be used on their skin. Therefore, no cross contamination issues exist.

Is it painful?

Vibradermabrasion is a simple office procedure which is fast and painless with essentially no risk or downtime. Many clients describe the treatment as pleasant and relaxing. Treatment for the face/neck and upper chest can be performed in approximately 15 minutes, and with the speed of this device, full body treatments are now practical and take approximately 50 minutes. After treatment, the skin has a pink glow and you can resume your normal activities immediately. The procedure can be done during your lunch hour.

How many treatments will I need?

Age, skin condition and personal expectations will determine the number of treatments required to achieve optimum effect. Because Vibradermabrasion is so gentle and gradual, multiple treatments are needed to achieve best results. For most, a minimum of five treatments is recommended. Results in texture can be felt in one session. Results in appearance may range from one to three sessions. Closely spaced treatments combined with maintenance sessions will result in better skin quality. Vibradermabrasion may be used in conjunction with other treatments such as IPL, Laser and LED therapy to realize your skin care goals.
